Katie has been a trainer for two and half years, but her commitment to fitness started at a young age. She was a gymnast throughout her childhood and a disciplined gym goer in college. After moving across the country she used fitness as a way to cope with being far from her family. She did not have any additional lifting experience, but took it upon herself to learn to lift correctly. From there she decided to turn her hobby into a career. She believes a healthy person has confidence and a clean bill of health from their doctor. There is no specific body type everyone should strive for. We should all focus on a sustainable lifestyle that will allow us to feel our best long term. She has worked with all ages from clients focusing on weight loss, to the elderly that train to prevent falls. She has a background in TRX and is a Corrective Exercise Specialist who plans to use her knowledge to help others reach their full potential.
